Bateleur Safaris cc was established in July 2006 and is owned by Namibian citizen, Pieter Pienaar. Bateleur safaris provides tailor-made safaris throughout the year.
Services offered by Bateleur safaris include guided tours with the necessary trained personnel and camping equipment, not inclusive of sleeping bags. Travelling is done with specially converted 15 seater and 8 seater trucks with semi-luxury seats and of course large windows for clients to view from. A 4x4 double cab is available fro smaller groups of say 8 people and also for off-road travelling. There is also a PA system, pop-top roof and built in fridge/freezer to keep beverages cold.
Equipment such as canvas dome tents of 2.1m x 2.1m (to be shared), bundu camping chairs, waterproof fold up matresses (163cm x 65cm x 7cm) are included in each safari. However Bateleur safaris does not provide air travel, transfers, visas, personal travel insurance, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and bottled or mineral water, sleeping bags, pillows and towels, tips and spending money or any item of a personal nature.
