Guest Farm Tented Camp African Safari in Namibia
Torgos Lodge is located en-route to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and is surrounded by red dunes. The lodge is set in the dry Auob river and offers a slice of tranquility. The lodge is situated on an 11 000 hectare farm which is home to wildlife such as springbok; oryx; waterbuck; red hartebeest; eland; zebra; blue wildebeest; kudu; vultures; bat-eared fox; caracal; brown hyena; porcupine; pangolin; African wildcat; ant-bear; lion; cheetah; spotted hyena and more.
Accommodation at the lodge consists of two luxury en-suite chalets and eight luxury tented chalets. Each chalet is equipped with three-quarter beds; shower; basin and flushable toilet. The chalets also have verandahs which overlook the dry river and are ideal places from which to watch the breathtaking sunsets. Chalets have air-conditioning and the tented chalets have roof fans and roll-up canvas windows.
Activities include early morning drives; sun-downer drives; unguided hikes and excursions to Kgalagadi Park.
