Ondekaremba is a lodge near Windhoek, about 7km away from the Windhoek International Airport and is the ideal pitstop for late arrivals to Namibia or for those travelers with an early flight and also self drive tourists who do not wish to travle all the way iinto Windhoek for a safari and tour experience. Ondekaremba is located on a farm in a small nature conservation area of 60km² .

The lodge has a restaurant where breakfast, lunch as well as dinner can be ordered, these are complimented by drinks from the bar.All meals are prepared in the farm’s kitchen, often using Proudly Namibian local produce.The terrace and garden provide a quiet area for guests to retire to and relax and the swimming pool offers a bit of a break from the somewhat unrelenting Namibiian sun. Accommodation at the lodge includes Standard rooms of which there are 8, with en-site bathrooms, mini bar and private patio with a garden view. Luxury apartments, which are more upmarket and offer the same faciities as standard rooms, Family rooms are ideal for families of 4 and also have similar facilities as the standard rooms. There is a seperate lounge for day visitors, with a shower, internet facilities, access to the swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

Wildlife that can be viewed include oryx, kudu, red harteeest, springbok, mongoose, baboons as well as warthogs. There is also numerous bird life which can be found such as guinea fowl, herons, yellow-billed hornbills, ostrich, white3-browed sparrow weaver, bee-eaters, cormorants, Egyptian geese, rosy-faced lovebirds and shrikes.

Activities include scenic drives in the early morning or late afternoon, these times provide the best light for photography and is also when animals are most active. Hiking around the well-marked hiking trails provides the perfect opportunity to spot wildlife as well. Hides/blinds have been set up not too far from the dams/lakes to allow for uninterrupted game viewing and photographic sessions without disturbing the wildlife.
