Namib Bou (Pty) Ltd is a subsidiary of Capricorn Investment Holdings Ltd and a fellow subsidiary of Bank Windhoek in Namibia. It acts as the social responsibility arm of Bank Windhoek with their main aim to provide affordable housing in Namibia. The goal of this project is to create a pleasant living environment in Ondangwa (in the north of Namibia) through the provision and delivery of approximately 1000 affordable houses of good quality in a well-planned and properly serviced township area. Lithon Project Consultants was appointed as project managers and consulting engineers. They lead the professional team of town planners, architects and quantity surveyors and are responsible for the planning, design, construction administration and site supervision for the construction of the municipal services. The project commenced in 2009 and has an estimated project period of six years, which will be market driven.
