The river
crossing lodge is located 3 km from Windhoek and is set on pristine 6500
hectare game reserve. The main lodge includes a dining room, a centrally
located bar, a lounge with a fireplace for those cold winter days, a wellness
room, a curio corner and a conference room that can accommodate up to 65
people.
The lodge has 20
guest chalets, which consist of 14 twin chalets and 6 double chalets, all the
chalets have their own en-suite bathrooms. 2 of the chalets were designed with
honeymooners in mind and have bathtubs instead of showers. 6 chalets offer
guests views of Windhoek and 14 chalets face east offering amazing sunrise
views of the Moltkeblick Mountain.
The private function room at the lodge that can accommodate up to 65
delegates, has 2 access points and opens on to a private veranda. The lodge
also utilises the lounge for smaller groups of delegates (up to 35) and screens
the room off from the other lodge guests for that time, this space also has its
own private veranda. For smaller still groups (up to 8 delegates), the lodge
makes use of their chalets, with tea and coffee being provided on the veranda.
Light luches are served at the main lodge in these cases.
