AIMS To care for injured and orphaned wildlife and work toward their successful release into natural habitats; and to provide an opportunity for visitors to safely enjoy the natural environment and view some of Namibia's magnificent wildlife. ACTIVITIES ? Permanently houses resident eagles, owls, falcons and other birds; ? provides an information centre and a resource library; ? provides self-catering camping sites; ? uses alternative technology; ? conducts an intensive rodent breeding programme; ? offers hiking trails - from the 0.5 km bird trail to a 14 km trail; ? conducts sustainable practice of farm animals, rain water collection, compost making and indigenous gardening.
