Arebbusch Travel Lodge is a privately owned and operated
accommodation establishment in Windhoek, Namibia. It opened in 1993 and it is
registered with both the Namibia Tourism Board and the Hospitality Association
of Namibia.
Arebbusch Travel Lodge is located on a 10 hectare property
on the banks of the dry Arebbusch River, at number 1 Golf Street in Olympia,
Windhoek.
Arebbusch Travel Lodge offers a range of bed and breakfast
and self-catering units as well as caravan and camping sites.
There are 101 bed and breakfast rooms (64 standard rooms and
37 luxury rooms) and 27 self-catering units on site. The self-catering units
comprise of 2 Luxury Cottages, 2 Villas, 5 Large Self-Catering Chalets and 18 smaller
Self-Catering Chalets.
Arebbusch Travel Lodge is the only accommodation
establishment in Windhoek to be registered with the Namibia Tourism Board as a
rest camp and it is the fourth largest accommodation establishment in Windhoek.
A wide range of fauna and flora occurs throughout the property.
There are indigenous plants and trees such as camel thorn trees, monkey thorn
trees and shepherds tress as well as small animals and birds such as swallows,
finches and pheasants on Arebbusch Travel Lodge.
The natural setting allows tourists to experience Namibia
right from the start of their journey in a peaceful and relaxing environment.
