Zonjati Stud was originally Otjozonjati Stud. Otjozonjati actually means "Place of the buffalo" . But to make things easier we decided to shorten it to Zonjati. This is the home of Consuelo and Elya (Elias van t' Godselbos)

Consuelo,by Corofino I out of Anna-Tevka by Landgraf-Romatiker-Farnese.

A well chosen name by his breeder Dorle Hafemeister.Consuelo is a true ambassador for the Holstein horse. Character, charisma, class. His offspring prove that he is a well chosen progenitor, who improves on every mare. Offsprings are: Alaska, Casta, Charismo, Efendi, El Paso Olorosso, Superstar, Connoisseur, Bolero, Cunsuela and many more!

Elya (Elias van t' Godselbos) by Utrillo van Heffinck(same breeding as Cornet Obulensky) out of Tiliade by Camus

Elya was imported by Anne Marie Esslinger and a friend. Unfortunately he injured himself and can not compete in the big sport. Lucky for us . He was licenced and pased with 7,53 and got a 9 for jumping attitude and ability and he has a 8 for his canter. He is a very promesing addition to our stud and we await impatiently his first foal in November
