Uukwaluudhi Conservancy is situated in the Omusati region. The geographical features small hills dot the flat landscape of savannah woodland. The average annual rainfall is 350-400mm.
Major wildlife resources include the black rhino, black-faced impala, kudu, duiker, hartebeest, eland, plains zebra, giraffe, springbok, elephant, eland.
The Management Committee of the Conservancy is made up of four women and 14 men. Executive Committee of nine members; staff of two Community Game Guards; wildlife monitoring using annual count and Event Book monitoring system. The conservancy has joint-venture tourism agreement with Uukwaluudhi Safari Camp, Uukwaluudhi Homestead (in Tsandi); craft outlet; information centre; trophy hunting, as well as shoot-and-sell hunting.
