Purpose of position:
To manage a vast range of fast moving consumer goods for the company. To increase sales in the company and manage costs that may occur to create higher margins.

Job Grade:
• C1

Key Accountabilities:
• Meet standards laid down by principal
• Negotiate profitable deals on existing and new product lines with buyers at shops
• Negotiate discounts, shelf space, promotions and gondolas
• Ensure that merchandisers are motivated and does training when needed
• Organise promotions by doing required negotiations
• Sort, verifies and submits claims to expedite process. Recommends reversals as required
• Ensure that stock rotation principles are adhered to
• Ensure products are correctly displayed at point of sale

Qualifications, Experience and skills:

• Grade 12 and three years’ experience in FMCG, or a diploma in Sales and Marketing
• Be between 21 and 35 years of age
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English
• Proficiency in an indigenous language will be a definite advantage
• Be able to handle pressure and conflict situations
• Have good communication skills
• Have a basic understanding and working knowledge of Sales Maths
• Reliable own transport, as extensive travelling is required
• Valid passport
• Valid Driver’s License (Code 08)
• Namibian Citizenship
