GOVERNANCE DEPARTMENT
EXECUTIVE: GOVERNANCE
5 Years Employment Contract
Duty Station: Windhoek

Purpose of the Position
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the management of the Bank’s risk and governance functions and assist the CEO and Board to focus on substantive matters.

Minimum Requirements
The suitable candidate will have at least a LLB degree and be an admitted legal practitioner; or a B Honours degree in Accounting with completed articles; or B.Com (Acc), CTA with completed articles, or any other relevant equivalent qualification with at least 10 years relevant work experience of which 5 years should have been in an industry leadership managerial capacity in investment and financial environment. A MBA or CA qualification will be a distinct advantage.



HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
EXECUTIVE: HUMAN RESOURCES
5 Years Employment Contract
Duty Station: Windhoek

Purpose of the Position

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the human resources function to ensure development and execution of human resources strategy in line with the Bank’s strategy, as well as statutory and corporate governance requirements.

Minimum Requirements: The suitable candidate will have at least a B honours degree in Human Resources Management or any other relevant equivalent qualification and at least 10 years relevant work experience of which at least 5 should have been in an industry leadership managerial capacity having dealt with strategic human resources management. A MBA will be a distinct advantage.

HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR
Duty Station
: Windhoek

Purpose of the Position
Reporting to the Human Resources Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for executing administrative duties in the human resources administration section as well as handling staff and service providers’ queries.

Key Performance Areas

• Maintain staff database and records
• Initiate and maintain staff loans
• Handle service providers’ enquires/ queries
• Maintain benefit funds/schemes’ records
• Draft documents, letters, and reports
• Administer staff leave record
• Recruitment

Minimum Requirements
The suitable candidate will have at least a Diploma in Human Resources or any other equivalent relevant qualification with at least 2 years experience in human resources environment. Computer literacy and a working knowledge of SAP System (HR Module) will be an advantage.

ICT & BUSINESS INNOVATION DEPARTMENT
EXECUTIVE: ICT & BUSINESS INNOVATION
5 Years Employment Contract
Duty Station: Windhoek

Purpose of the Position
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for information technology, as well as business strategy and innovation functions to ensure leveraging of technology, service efficiency through best- practice business processes reengineering, business-wide innovation and the coordination of strategy formulation, development, implementation, and monitoring.

• Business process re-engineering

Minimum Requirements: The suitable candidate will have at least a B.Sc (Eng.) in any engineering discipline; or honours degree in Computer science/ Information Technology, or any other relevant equivalent qualification and at least 10 years relevant work experience of which at least 5 should have been in an industry leadership managerial capacity having dealt with information technology management, strategy co-ordination, and business process re-engineering. A MBA will be an advantage.

SALES DEPARTMENT
RECOVERY OFFICER
Duty Station :
Otjiwarongo, Otjeroku

Purpose of the Position
Reporting to Branch Control Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for monitoring the Branch’s loan book in order to identify delinquent or non-performing loans and take or recommend appropriate remedial actions to ensure recovery.

• Debt collection • Customer services
• Recoveries reports
• Client referral

Minimum Requirements
The suitable candidate will have at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or any other relevant equivalent qualification and at least 3 years work experience in recoveries or debtors control in a financial/banking environment.


BRANCH SECRETARY
Duty Station:
Midland Branch, Windhoek

Purpose of the Position
Reporting to the Regional Branch Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support in order for the branch to function efficiently.

• Procurement services
• Staff supervision

Minimum Requirements
The suitable candidate will have at least a Diploma in Information Management or Administration with 3 years relevant work experience of which 1 year should have been in a clerical or secretarial role.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT
ACCOUNTANT: BANKING & TREASURY
Duty Station:
Windhoek Purpose of the Position Reporting to Manager: Financial Accounting, the incumbent will be responsible for performing bank reconciliations and administering investments and cash flow so as to ensure accuracy of trial balance records.

• Cash management
• Bank reconciliations
• Month-end processes & reports
• Treasury – back office • Staff supervision

Minimum Requirements
The suitable candidate will have at least a B. degree in Finance, Accounting, or any other relevant equivalent qualification and at least 5 years relevant work experience of which 2 years should be in a supervisory role with an exposure to an accounting software package.
