VACANCY
FUND PRINCIPAL OFFICER - WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA

The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations and governance of the Funds according to laws applicable to retirement funds in Namibia, the Funds Rules, and Board of Trustees instructions/decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure that the Rule of the Funds comply with applicable legislation.
2. Oversight and guidance in respect of risk, governance and legal for the Funds;
3. Provide technical preservation retirement fund advice and policy development to the funds Strategic objectives as approved by the Board of Trustees;
4. Overview and management of Funds Strategic objectives as approved by the Board of Trustees;
5. Pro-actively manage engagements with and for the Board of Trustees;
6. Monitory the investment performance of the Funds in accordance with the Investment Statement Policy of the Funds;
7. Ensure the submission of Annual Financial Statements and Valuator Reports to the Registrar of Pension Funds;
8. Submit statistics and any other information to the relevant authorities;
9. Maintain and strengthen the relationship with all stakeholders of the Funds such as NAMFISA, bank of Namibia, Ministry of Finance;
10.Manage Member complaints and reporting thereof to the Board of Trustees of the Funds;
11.Liaise with Members of the Funds as per the communication policies and strategies approved by the Board of Trustees;
12.Liaise with and supervise service delivery of service providers in accordance with their service level agreements;
13.Arrange and attend all the meetings of the Funds;
14. Secretarial services to the Funds such as taking Minutes, compiling agendas and managing the completion of Board of Trustees instructions.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND
COMPETENCIES

1. Namibia citizen:
2. A relevant legal or business or commerce Bachelor's degree
3. Drivers licence,
4. Fr t and proper person;
5. Organized and disciplined;
6. Good communication and presentation sick
7. Process, business and Member orientated,
8. Able to translate complex concepts into practical
operations and recommendations for implementation,
9. Logical and analytical in problem solving;
10.Detemiined and self-motivated;
11. At least 5 years retirement fund/ investmentlrelated
industry experience.
The successful incumbent wit be appointed on a full time,
contract basis, with regular performance reviews being
conducted. Only shortlisted candidates will be contracted.
