CONSULTANT SUPPORT
OFFICER
(BASED IN WINDHOEK)
The successful incumbent will
report to the Managing Director:
Prosperity Health. The incumbent
must be well motivated and
positive, a self-starter who can
work independently, have good
communication skills with high
level of passion and always
present a supportive, positive and
enthusiastic attitude towards the
job, the company and colleagues.
The successful candidate must
have the ability to work in isolation
while being part of the Prosperity
team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:• Grade 12
• 3 year Diploma Sales or Relevant
Course (Insurance qualification)
• At least 3 years’ experience in
broker support role
• At least 3 years’ sales experience
within an insurance environment
• Must be able to work
independently with minimum
supervision
• Own reliable vehicle and valid
drivers license (essential)
• Must be willing to work irregular
hours and to travel long distances
KEY FUNCTIONS:• Build and support relationships
with the brokers and agents
• Provide training and product
support for the brokers and
agents.
• Provide administration support
for brokers
• Ensure compliance and
functionality
• Monitor and measure broker
performance against growth
targets.
• Provide leads and direct brokers
towards growth areas.
• Provide monthly report on
suspensions
• Inform broker within 24 hours of
any lapses to attempt to retain
• Evaluate and finalise Brokers and
agents commission end of month
• Request Brokers and Agent
standing at Namfisa once a
month
• Register and deregister Agents
and Brokers at Namfisa
• Ensure Broker and Agents are
up to date with latest Insurance
policy rules
• Ensure Broker and Agents attend
training once a year
• Attend and organise social event
with Brokers
