HR ADMINISTRATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role primarily focuses on providing recruitment administrative
support to the HR Manager and Recruitment Business Partners
and general HR administrative support to HR Manager. The
successful incumbent will be responsible for the administrational
work and ensuring a smooth flow of the recruitment process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

RECRUITMENT ADMINISTRATION

• Support the HR Manager in the implementation of recruitment
objectives, policies and procedures
• Assist with shortlisting of junior positions
• Co-ordinate interview slots with panel ensuring that it is
planned and organised accurately and timeously
• Book venues based on interview type i.e. vidcon, face to face,
telecon etc. and prepare interview packs 24 hours prior to
interview date
• Co-ordinate psychometric assessments with Sanlam/external
service providers
• Plan assessment feedback sessions with line manager and HR
• Effectively and timeously communicate with candidates to
confirm interview and assessment dates
• Manage vacancy and candidate records, ensuring that all data
and information is accurate and up to date (including People
Fluent records)
• Conduct references on final shortlisted candidates
• Assistance with drafting of employment contracts, increase
letters etc.
• Collate administration related to offer documentation and
on-boarding ensuring submission to HRSS in adherence to
monthly deadline (including candidate qualification)
• Request SID from HRSS and timeously communicate to internal
client
• Collate and conduct background checks (ITC, qualifications
and criminal etc.)
• Assist with the administration related to recruitment projects
• Build and maintain effective relationships with our external
service providers including recruitment agencies and our
assessment partners

General HR Administration

• General administration assistance to HR Manager
• Order stationery for team as per requirements
• Support HR manager on diary management and forward
planning

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant HR or business related qualification
• MS Office – especially Word, Excel and Outlook
