We stayed at Otjiwa for the 3rd time and we love it! Piet and Maureen are the best hosts in Namibia and we will come back. The lodge is a dream, very clean, quite and you can see many different animals. The food and wine are also great!!

Our first visit was in 2015 and we came back with our friends in 2018. Once again, we had a fabulous vacation. Namibia is a magical place that you will remember for years to come. You will arrive as strangers and leave as family. Piet and Maureen are wonderful hosts that go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The food is is exceptional and the accommodations are perfect. You have breathtaking views from your private chalet to the main lodge. You will see an abundance of wildlife whether you are in your chalet, eating lunch in the lodge, or on a game drive. Relaxing at the firepit with a cocktail after a full day on the plains is a perfect way to end the day. You will enjoy not only the sights but be treated to the sounds of the animals as you sit around the fire. Our PH, William, provided excellent service once again. His knowledge and expertise in the field is top notch. This family owned lodge is Namibia's hidden gem. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for making our vacation special.

What an exceptional holiday we had at Otjiwa Mountain Lodge! Piet and Maureen are wonderful hosts, welcoming us to Namibia and helping us to relax and enjoy our time! Maureen is a phenomenal chef and Piet is a vast wealth of knowledge! The chalets are perfect - just the right size for two, providing breathtaking views of the plains. Whether sitting on the stoop outside the chalet, on a game drive or hunting, there is an abundance of animals to be seen - rhinos, giraffe, zebra, oryx, impala, kudu - the list goes on! We are grateful to our new friends, Piet and Maureen, for helping make our visit one of the best ever!

We stayed for 2 nights in this exclusive lodge run by inclusive people, Maureen and Piet, and a very efficient staff. We enjoyed so much staying there. The landscape is wonderful. The lodge is amazing. Service perfect. Great variety of game (even though we have been several times to Botswana). Highly recommended high quality standard lodge. A place for happy few people.

What a breathtaking surprise at the end of our wonderful Namibia trip! Maureen and Piet are the perfect hosts and made all four of us feel at ease and happy from the first moment. Great view from lodge, pool and fireplace, a huge variety of animals including White Rhinos with a baby. The chalets provide a lot of privacy, no other building in sight and panorama windows from the bedroom as well as from the bathtub. Beautifully furnished and very clean. Maureen is a wonderful chef and all dishes are served with lots of love to details. Best stay on our whole trip! Thank you very much to the very special and nice people. Wish you all the best! What an OUTSTANDING weekend!!!! Welcomed by charming Hosts Piet and Maureen and shown to a chalet with sliding doors opening onto a stoep, looking over the plains. Game right in front of the Chalet and not another building in sight. Piet took me on incredible Game Drives and there were Rhinos to be seen on each drive!. Maureen serves amazing food and I cannot thank them both enough for my weekend in Paradise! Beautifully run operation by extremely good Managers Maureen and Piet.

Wir (Familie, 4 Personen) haben 2 Nächte in dieser Lodge verbracht. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Die Safari war super, wir sind den Breitmaulnashörnern sehr nahe gekommen! Der Blick von der eigenen Terrasse in die weite Ebene war toll! Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir können die Lodge bedingungslos empfehlen.

We stayed for two nights at Otjiwa Mountain Lodge with 4 guests from Germany. It was undoubtedly the best stay of our entire 25 day tour of Namibia. Maureen is an excellent host and chef. Her food was divine and the presentation thereof absolutely great.We did a wonderful 3 hour plus walking trail where we sighted several game sorts and even 3 rhinos. The sparkling pool with its magnificent view added to the overall ambience of the lodge. We also did a game drive with Piet which was very rewarding, especially seeing the roan antilope. We will definitely add Otjiwa Mountain Lodge to our future tours.

We stayed there for one night at the end of our safari holidays. After a warm welcome we had a sundowner next to the fireplace in front of the lodge. The view is breathtaking. Piet showed fotos and explained details of the lodge. The dinner was one of the best we had in Namibia. Maureen is an excellent host paying attention even to small details creating a relaxing atmosphere. There are only 5 chalets, tastefully furnished, with a great view. Next morning we had a game drive with Piet - we saw lots of intersting animals (including the rhinos), and Piet can explain details and provide background info very well. Very friendly, one of our best stays in Namibia

Superb stay at this wonderful lodge. Piet and Maureen perfect hosts. Really relaxing. Strongly recommend. Perfect stop prior to finishing hols in Namibia and flying out of Windhoek.

We had a wonderful time here. The game drive was personal, informative and we saw so many animals. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. The rooms were beautiful and there was nothing better than a morning cup of coffee while sitting outside in nature.

Die beste Unterkunft unserer dreiwöchigen Tour. Super Lage, klein (nur 5 Chalets), sehr freundlich und familiär. Hausgemachtes leckeres Essen. Beim persönlichen Gamedrive Tiere besser gesehen als in Etosha. Hier hat alles gestimmt.

Wir waren schon mehrfach in der Otjiwa Mountain Lodge und sind jedesmal begeistert von der extrem freundlichen und familiären Atmosphäre für die Maureen ,Piet und ihre Angestellten sorgen. Unterkunft und Verpflegung sind einfach Spitze und bei 2 GameDrives haben wir viele Tierbeobachtungen machen können. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
