Namushasha river lodge is about 24 km south of Kongola in east Caprivi and is set on the banks of an oxbow lake on the Kwando river.
The lodge has a small pool; bar; sundowner viewing deck; curio shop and buffet restaurant. Guests can enjoy views of the game-splattered floodplains and bird-filled riverine forest.
Accommodation at the lodge consists of 27 luxury bungalows which have en-suite bathrooms and are fitted with mosquito nets over the sleigh beds. The bungalows are set along the water's edge and each have a private balcony.
Activities that can be enjoyed include boat trips; fishing trips; nature drives; nature/walking trails; guided horse trail; Lizauli traditional village tour and there is also a 4 km hiking trail where guests can spot any number of the over 400 bird species that have been recorded in the area. The Mudumo and Mamili game parks are also in the vicinity of the lodge.
