Sales
and Marketing Manager - Windhoek
PURPOSE
OF THE JOB:
•
Optimize a premium Namibian brand in order to derive maximum stakeholder value.
•
Responsible for conceiving, implementing and managing sales and marketing
strategies to
target
current and potential markets.
•
Efficiently manage the sales staff to ensure that the NEO product range sales
are maximized.
KEY
PERFORMANCE AREAS:
•
Achieve sales growth as per targets set by management team for all dealers
across Namibia.
•
Personal interaction with the dealer network across Namibia on a continuous
basis.
•
Develop and implement strategic plans to create new opportunities at existing
and new
customers.
•
Gathering of market data on an on-going basis to analyses and support market
share growth.
•
Managing of all sales and marketing staff throughout Namibia.
•
Managing and optimization of retailer inventory across Namibia.
•
Managing of in store tinting facilities.
•
Prepare and manage marketing plans and budgets.
•
Ensure prominent brand recognition throughout all product lines, promotional
materials,
and
events
QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
•
Degree in economics. Preference will be given to candidates with a post-graduate
qualification in
management.
•
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a management role in sales and marketing.
•
Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to develop employees and act
as a mentor.
•
Exposure to the paint / building industry would be an advantage
•
Ability to work independently
•
A proven track record in applying technical, human resources and conceptual
skills.
•
Strong analytical skills with advance level of computer literacy
•
Namibian citizen
