Process/Chemical Engineer

Windhoek -

Requirements and experience as a minimum:
• Namibian citizen or permanent resident.
• Recognised University Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
or BSc Engineering with Post Graduate in Water Utilisation
• At least 3 years in a water/wastewater treatment/production and
design/build environment
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Valid drivers license Code 08
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in Namibia / Registered as a
Professional Engineer in Training in Namibia

Competencies:
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint)
• Good ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP experience & knowledge
• Ability to work and deliver under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Be enthusiastic, honest, reliable, disciplined, results driven
• Knowledge of membrane technology will be an advantage
The duties include amongst others:
• Water quality control and optimisation of treatment processes
• Perform R&D duties as prescribed
• Adherence to all relevant Namibian Legislation (OHS, Labour, Water)
• Perform standby and after hours when necessary
