The Lagoon Lodge is a French owned establishment and is set right beside the Walvis Bay Lagoon. The lagoon is the main attraction in the area and is important for coastal birds in southern Africa, making an ideal place for bird enthusiasts.
Accommodation at the lodge includes eight individually styled rooms with amazing views of the lagoon available from the private balcomies or verandahs. The double rooms have en-suite bathrooms; television, telephone; mini-bar; tea/coffee station; in-room safe and either twin or king-size beds. The three family rooms have either single or double beds, or two twin beds and a double bed or three single beds and have similar features as the double rooms.
There is a beautiful garden where guests can relax or a pool to cool off in surrounded by loungers and sun-shades.
Attractions include the coastal holiday town of Swakopmund; the Namibian Minerals museum; the Crystal gallery; the Welwitschia plain and moon landscape and the desert of the Topnaars.
