About

Ohange lodge is located in an area abundant with game and various bird species. It is a spectacular mountain retreat which is shaded by large marula and tamboti trees. The word Ohanga in the local Herero dialect can be translated to mean 'peace'.

The lodge has a main building containing a restaurant, bar as well as a guest lounge. The lodge also has a swimming pool with a deck where guests can lounge about and relax. There are laundry and internet facilities available for guests' convenience. There is also a spotlit waterhole located right in front of the lodge.

All meals served at the lodge are of the buffet variety. Accommodation at the lodge consists of ten thatched, African style mountain huts. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, a fan, mosquito nets and room service.

Wildlife that can be found in the area inlcude cheetah, eland, Damara Dik-Dik, giraffes, Burchell's and Hartman Zebra, waterbuck, impala, black wildebeest, kudu and oryx. Activities that can be enjoyed at the lodge include morning, afternoon and night game drives; unguided walking trails; sun-downer walks; horse back rides and guided tours to Etosha National Park, the Ghaub Caves, Lake Otjikoto and the Hoba Meteorite.
