Frans Indongo Lodge is located in the vicinity of Waterberg Plateau Park, about 44 km from Otjiwarongo. It is one of the most popular lodges in the area. The lodge is set on a game farm which spans 17 000 hectares which has a variety of wildlife including white and black rhino, black wildebeest and hartebeest.
Accommodation at the lodge includes eight chalets which are equipped with an en-suite bathroom; air-conditioning; fridge; hairdryer; telephone; television; electric kettle and tea/coffee station. There are two double rooms which have the same features as the chalets. There are also two family rooms which can accommodate two adults and one child or two adults and two children and also have similar features as the chalets.
Activities include game drives where guests could spot gemsbok, zebra, kudu, springbok, eland, sable and roan antelope, impala, wildebeest as well as white and black rhino. There are also three walking trails differing in length to choose from.
