Suricate Tented Lodge is located in the Intu Kalahari Private Reserve. The lodge is set on a red sand dune overlooking a pan system that forms part of the upper Auob wetlands. It is here that one can experience all the romance, all the adventure of the early safari expeditions but with style.
Accommodation at Suricate consists of 11 standard walk-in style tents are equipped with an open-air bathroom; twin beds; mosquito netting; tea/coffee station; a mini-bar and safe for guests' valuables. Guests can relax and unwind on the large deck that is furnished with a wooden table and chairs.
Facilities at Suricate include a bar and lounge as well as a poolside bar. There is a restaurant on the premises that provides guests with delectable meals and guests are provided with a free hearty breakfast.
There is also a honeymoon tent for newlywed lovebirds. The honeymoon tent is a luxurious tent that has about the same features as the standard tent and it has its own private pool.
Activities at Suricate include exploring the vast Kalahari in 4x4 vehicles or partaking in dune sundowners and guided walks with bushman trackers or trained guides.
