Unlike other nature reserves, which invite dozens of people to visit at once, Sandfontein is designed with exclusivity in mind. A maximum of10 visitors can enjoy the private, 200,000-acre reserve at any one time, and scheduled tours are absolutely off the agenda. Instead, nature-focused activities and excursions are crafted especially for guests, giving them the freedom to explore an area that’s bigger than Singapore on foot or by canoe – whatever suits their mood. They can even request a private photo safari led by Sandfontein’s personal guides, who have spent time developing an affinity with the striking Namibian terrain.
