Ombo Rest Camp is an ideal midway stopover, allowing guests to experience a relaxing and peaceful stay in a child-friendly environment.
Accommodation at the rest camp includes two luxury family bungalows; a two bed bungalow and a double bed bungalow. All bungalows are self-catering and fully equipped with air-conditioning and have secure and safe parking. Ombo rest camp also has three backpacker rooms, each equipped with two single beds and bathroom facilities, the rooms are not supplies with linens, however, linens can be arranged by guests upon arrival.
All overnight guests at Ombo can make use of the barbeque facilities on the camping grounds.
Guests can spot various wildlife from their bungalows, such as springbok, waterbuck, ostriches, giraffes and warthogs.
There is laundry service available for those guests that stay at Ombo for longer than a day. Ombo's farm stall provides guests with barbeque packs, firewood, ice and soft drinks as well as homemade products such as biltong, droewors, smoked meat, honey, jams and a variety of juices.
There is also a souvenir shop where guests can purchase little trinkets to keep as mementos of their trip.
