After having guided tours through Namibia for 10 years, and sharing many experiences with visitors from different walks of life, we realized that in order to offer unforgettable, once in a lifetime experiences to visitors in and around Namibia, we had to organize the tours ourselves. This led to the establishment of Matiti Safaris in 1999. Helping us to create inspiring moments of discovery and adventure in this diverse country, with its many amazing features and welcoming people, is an experienced and enthusiastic team that consistently advises and assists our partners in tourism throughout the world, ensuring that their clients get the best out of their travel experience. Being one of the first inbound tour operators to offer tours with open-roof converted Toyota Land cruisers, considered by many tourism professionals within Namibia, as one of the best-adapted and maintained fleet of vehicles in Namibia, has allowed us to offer incomparable experiences for our guests. We are dedicated to training and empowering our team to ensure service excellence and at this stage are one of the only operators recruiting and training Namibian guides to learn a foreign language. Currently we have 3 Namibian guides fluent in French and another 2 guides should be fluent by 2014 and 2015.
