Welcome to Namibia Training Authority Together with the Board of the NTA and the National Training Fund, the Namibia Training Authority (NTA), has been established by the Vocational Education and Training Act, 2008 (Act 1 of 2008), to regulate the provision of vocational education and training and to provide for: The funding of vocational education and trainingThe imposition of a vocational education and training levyThe appointment of inspectors and designation of quality system auditorsIncidental matters The NTA contributes to the establishment of an effective and sustainable system of skills formation that is aligned with the needs of the labour market and which provides the skills required for accelerated development. In this system, competencies are developed that are needed for productive work and increased standards of living. Moreover, the NTA promotes access, equity and quality in vocational education and training.
