NAMCOL is a semi-autonomous educational institution created by an Act of Parliament (Act 1 of 1997) and falls under the Ministry of Education. NAMCOL offers programmes for adults and out-of-school youth to further their education.The programmes on offer are in three categories, namely: secondary education (JSC & NSSC), professional and vocational programmes. The College's programmes have drawn national and international recognition. In addition, NAMCOL offers self-contained JSC & NSSC Study Guides, which are fully approved by the National Institute For Education (NIED) and the Ministry of Education (MoE). The College also offers JSC & NSSC Examination Booklets
