After Wilhelm Sander sold Heinitzburg in 1916, he obtained a piece of ground not far from the other two castles, to build a dwelling for himself, a building which is today known as Sanderburg. Many changes have been made over the years, but the original of Willie Sanders style has been preserved. The castle presently still serves as a house.
