As the local name of the campsite suggests rock dassies are found in abundance in this area they are regular guests.It is the Africa Elephant close evolutionary relationship deduced from similarities in the structure of feet and teeth
There are 5 carefully selected campsite and every campsite has its own braai facilities as well as water tip. There is a communal ablution block with basic warm water shower and flush toilets.
Ozohere offers a Restaurant where cool drinks, tee/coffee and meal are available, but otherwise campers must be completely selfsufficient.day visitors are welcome for meals and refreshments,pre booking are essential.
Vinice Kambongarera owner of Ozohere campsite is granted permission by the Daures Constituency council where the campsite is situation, to invite &host international volunteers with the expertise to assist with the contraction of community gardens. These gardens will require boundaries, build by rock, which cannot be damaged by the elephant roaming in this community. This is an elephant-friendly project as the community looks forward to its survival together with that of the desert adapted elephant.
