Guided nature walk to the famous White Lady rock painting.This is a two hour round trip through spectacular mountain scenery through the Tsiseb River Valley in the Brandberg Mountains. Brandberg is a 650 square km volcanic massif in which there are 45 000 documented rock art site.

Please note: Access to the White Lady is only permitted with a well trained local community tour guide. Be sure to take water, a hat, good walking shoes and camera. Water is available for sale.

White Lady National Heritage Centre currently has 12 trained guides and six in training.

Facilities at White Lady National Heritage Centre:

• Shaded parking;
• Ablution facilities;
• A cool thatch lapa; and
• Information centre.

Directions:

On the C35 north from Uis, travel for 14km then turn off towards the D2319 and follow the White Lady signs. Drive 26km towards the parking area.
