The Living Museum, an authentic open-air museum, offers visitors an insight into the life, traditional culture and the original way of living of the Mafwe people. The locals demonstrate and describe everything with great dedication and the guide translates into English. It is also great fun for visitors to try and weave a traditional net or taste some of the offered meals. Visitors can spend the night there on a basic bush camp (currently under revamping into an official campsite soon) close to the museum or stay in one of the surrounding accommodation establishments.
