Planning Clerk (Engineering)
Location: Husab Mine
Reports to the Technical Coordinator
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo assist the maintenance section by performing clerical duties, presenting
information in a manner which identifies data inconsistencies, promoting their
immediate resolution and to facilitate controls on the maintenance planning/
control systems.
Key Performance Areas:• Create scheduled and unscheduled work records on the system by gathering
and inserting relevant codes for validations.
• Process scheduled and unscheduled planned maintenance and unscheduled
work records in accordance with maintenance control procedures.
• Prepare and expedite orders placed for spares, equipment and components
and identify actual or potential delivery problems, and depending on the
urgency, take authorized corrective actions or refer the matter to a higher
authority.
• Follow up on queries related to work orders.
• Assists Production personnel in being able to navigate SAP whenever creating
Maintenance Notifications.
• Prepare and expedite offers for spares, equipment and components.
• Select the correct GL account and Cost Centre when ordering consumables.
• Perform full secretarial duties in addition to Engineering Planning Clerk
duties in an area where no other secretary is available.
• Work effectively with others as a member of a team.
• Adherence to all workplace SHERQ standards, practices, policies, procedures,
rules and regulations.
Requirements and experience:• Grade 12 with 20 points over 5 subjects including English with an E symbol.
• 2- 3 Years’ experience as a clerk or administrator.
• Organizing and planning experience.
• Planning system experience.
• Code B/BE driver’s license.
TRAINING ASSISTANT (Engineering)
Location: Husab Mine
Reports to the Technical Coordinator - Training
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:To support the Engineering department in delivering a professional training
administration service by assisting with the organizing
and planning of all training events within SU.
Requirements and experience:• Grade 12 with 20 points, and a minimum D symbol in English.
• 3-5 Years’ experience in office administration environment.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and service providers.
• Advanced time management skills.
• People, planning and organizing skills.
• Sound working knowledge in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience of SAP will be an added advantage.
• High level of accuracy, an eye for detail and respect for
confidentiality.
• Code B/BE driver’s License.

• Ensure refresher inductions are scheduled each year.
• Keep record of training stationary, asset inventory and training
material.
• Perform any ad hoc training related activities as and when

standards of the Company

of the Company
Requirements and experience:• Grade 12 with 20 points, and a minimum C symbol in English.
• Facilitation certificate.
• Training Coordinator programme.
• 2-3 Years’ clerical and induction experience in a mining training
environments.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Planning and organizing skills.
• Sound working knowledge in Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
• Experience of SAP will be an added advantage.
• Code B/BE driver’s License.
