Parts Inventory Manager
Windhoek
THE POSITIONReporting to the Operations Manager the candidate will oversee all Caterpillar
Parts inventory control related activities. Implement inventory control measures
to ensure the company minimizes stockholding and optimise stock availability
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:• Management of team of Parts Planning Analysts
• Achievement of required service levels
• Achievement of required stock turn
• Measurement and communication of Parts Inventory KPI’s
• Analysis and implementation of process changes to improve KPI’s
• Manage parts supply chain from customer order creation to end user delivery
• Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of
goods
• Manage all parts credit claims logged against supplier
• Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
• Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
• Plan future capacity requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE• B.Com Logistics or BSC Industrial Engineering degree
• Above average Microsoft office computer skills
• A high level of attention to detail is required.
• SAP ERP experience would be an advantage.
• 5 - 8 years experience in a supply chain / planning / inventory environment is an
advantage
• Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license (Code BE)
General Mechanics

Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Northern NamibiaTHE POSITIONReporting to the Field Service Supervisor, the successful incumbents will perform
planned and breakdown repairs, services and maintenance on Earthmoving
Equipment and components to supplier standards and customer requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Repair and maintain earthmoving equipment
• Routine and preventative maintenance
• Daily machine inspections
• Troubleshoot machine systems problems and failures
• Produce accurate service reports including failure analysis and investigation
reports
• Deliver high quality service to all customers
• Perform repairs in compliance to Company warranty policies and procedures
• Must be a self starter and able to work independently
• Think analytically and have a mechanical and practical
• aptitude
• Have initiative and work accurately
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS• Qualified Artisan (N3/NQF3) with at least 3-5 years’ experience in the
earthmoving industry
• Able to understand and work from Service Manuals
• Be familiar with electrical, hydraulic and power train principals
• Strong in fault finding (Electrical specific and machine systems)
• Vision Link, ET
• SIS Web and EMPR new generation SIS
• Must have a knowledge of Diesel engines, fuel systems and electronic engine
control systems
• Must be willing to work overtime, report Writing Skills
• Must be able to cope under pressure and varying workloads
