Namib Poultry Industries (Pty) Ltd is a fully integrated broiler production
operation established in 2012 and situated 30 km north of Windhoek on the B1
highway on the farm Klein Okapuka.

PRODUCTION MANAGER: DISPATCH DEPARTMENT

PURPOSE OF JOB
The main purpose of the job is to ensure the effective day-to-day management of the
various production processes and activities of the designated department within the
Processing Plant.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Completion of daily fresh & frozen order picking
• Full accountability for the daily Supply Chain
• Ensure the optimal inventory levels of frozen stock are maintained in order to fulfill
daily sales needs
• Ensure FIFO system is adhered to at all times
• Adherence to, and enforcing of TQM System policies, procedures and
documentation
• Strict adherence to prescribed hygiene, housekeeping, and health and safety
standards
• Maintain discipline in accordance with Disciplinary Code and Procedures
• Maintain the process flow of the Dispatch Production Department
• Submit weekly / monthly management reports
• Training and development of subordinate line supervision and machine operator
staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Namibian citizen or eligible to become a Namibian citizen.
• Grade 12 (NQF 4) passed with minimum requirements.
• Proficient in English.
• Valid driver`s license (Code BE).
• Minimum of six (6) years’ working experience in the poultry industry.
• An applicable management qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ Production Management experience in a high-throughput
poultry processing facility and/or FMCG food manufacturing facility
• Formal Food Safety and/or HACCP training course at management level
completed
• Fully computer literate
