The United States Embassy in Windhoek has the following THREE vacancies as detailed below.

Plumber (NAM-2018-02)
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor located in the Facilities Maintenance
Section, the incumbent serves as the Plumbing Technician and Inspector, primarily
responsible for managing the potable and non-potable delivery systems for the U.S.
Embassy. This includes all residential locations, chancery, warehouse, and three annex
office locations. Incumbent inspects all plumbing work of contractors to ensure work
complies with local and international plumbing codes.

CDC Chauffeur - Rundu (NAM-2018-09)
Under the supervision of the Logistics Coordinator/Dispatcher in the Windhoek CDC office
the incumbent provides efficient transportation services to CDC personnel, contractors and
visitors to perform official business and attend meetings at CDC offices, other locations in
Rundu and surrounding areas.

Trades Helper (NAM-2018-08)
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor located in the Facilities Maintenance
Section, the incumbent serves as a Trades Helper (Handyman). He/she will also be the
main Truck Driver, operating a heavy duty water truck for the procurement and delivery
of water to official USG properties, owned and leased residential and non-residential
properties, therefore he/she has to have a valid code CE drivers’ license. He/she will drive
the fuel truck to refill the generators located at all USG owned and leased properties.
