LOCATION:

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To assist the Cost Controller with
managing the supply budget and ensuring
costs are minimized and correct stock
levels are maintained
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
• Diploma in Financial Management
• Previous experience in similar position
within a 3 - 5 star Hotel
• A minimum of 2 Years’ working
experience within Cost Controlling
department
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Generation purchase orders and
placement with suppliers based on best
price
• Establish & maintain par stocks on all
inventoried items, in a way that does
not compromise hotel efficiency and
cash flow
• Ensuring stock, costs and expenses
transfers and recharge is done
according to the set processes and
timeframes
• Providing timely mid-month, monthly
and other adhoc reports to the Cost
Controller or other managers
• Supervises and assist in physical stock
takes bi-monthly or daily and month
end events. To work alongside the Cost
Controller and the departmental heads
• Ensuring the proper functionality of the
Micros to Materials Control Interface for
stock deduction and booking of revenue
• Invoice processing exports to SAP
and verifying the accuracy of the data
before export
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Strong Mathematical skills required
• Computer Literacy in: MICROS,
Materials Control or other stock
management systems & Microsoft office
packages mainly excel
