Job Description: Lecture Advance Micro and Macro Economics at graduate level;
lecture quantitative modules at undergraduate level; supervise undergraduate and
postgraduate student research; engage in research and publication activities and
provide service to the academic and wider community, source funding for graduate
and postgraduate research projects and studies for students and perform any other
duties as may be required.

Tutor

Requirements: Bachelor of Economics Honors degree with tutoring experience in
quantitative modules.

Job description: Provide tutorials in Business Mathematics and Econometric, engage
in research activities and provide service to the academic and wider community, and
perform any other duties as may be required.

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

Geography, History And Environmental Science department

Lecturer

Requirements: A Master degree in Computer Science with a solid background in GIS and
Spatial Modelling (Geo-information Science or related discipline) OR a Master degree in
GIS and Spatial Modelling (Geo-information Science or related field) coupled with a solid
background in Computer Science, with at least three (3) years lecturing experience; a
satisfactory record of teaching, research, publication and service to the academic and
wider community. A PhD will serve as an advantage.

Job description: Lecture undergraduate and postgraduate content related to Web-
Mapping and Development, Spatial programming and Geo databases, Spatial Modelling
and simulations and Geo-statistics. Lecturer information systems analysis, design and
implementation, relation database technology, data modelling, data query using SQL,
building a small-scale information system using a relation database management system
and perform any other duties as may be required.

Requirements: Master degree in Radiography with at least three (3) years lecturing
experience; a satisfactory record of teaching, research, publication and service to the
academic and wider community.

wider community, and perform any other duties as may be required.

Center for Open, Distance and e Learning (CODeL)
Instructional Designer

Requirements: Master degree in Educational Technology with at least three (3) years
relevant experience in e-content development and online course facilitation.

Job Description: Convert print-base material to digital learning resources for online
delivery; development of e-content/digital material; carry out instructional design of both
print-base and online material; facilitate workshops for prospective writers and developers
of e-content; identify OERs and support content developers in the adaptation of digital
OER content, and perform any other duties as may be required.

Senior Stores and Dispatch Officer

Requirements: Diploma in Administration or related field with at least three (3) years’
experience or a Grade 12 Certificate (25 points based on five (5) subjects and at least
a C symbol in English), coupled with at least six (6) years’ experience. Good leadership,
organisational and administrative skills.

Job Description: Inventory control; maintenance of stock records, receipt of incoming
material; liaise with courier services to dispatch study materials and consumables to all
UNAM Campuses and Centres, stock verification and preparation monthly reports and
perform any other duties as may be required.

Requirements:

Job description:
Handling all administrative and academic related student enquiries and
student related processes within the Faculty; coordinating the admission of prospective
students; effecting the annual registration and annual promotion of students within the
Faculty; updating the fee structure of the faculty; selecting the best students within the
Faculty according to the UNAM’s Merit Awards criteria; serve as secretary to the Faculty
Management and Faculty Board Meetings, attend and represent the Faculty in relevant

Requirements:

Job description: Overseeing and provision of support, mentoring, and advising of student
leaders and all its structures; facilitating all students leaders activities; organizing training
for student leaders; ensuring special group involvement in students activities; coordinating
peer mentoring; assisting and participating in orientations and other special events and
activities organised under the auspices of the Office of the Dean of Students; liaise
with relevant external youth related organisations, design and implement cultural, social
and academic programmes of different UNAM Societies; soliciting sponsorships for the
Student Union activities, general office administration and perform any other duties as
may be required.
